The russian alphabet is the Cyrillic alphabet. It was named after a missionary named Cyril. He went to the russians and he translated the bible into russian. The alphabet sorta looks the greek alphabet because Cyril and his brother were greek.

Russian is a eurasia language. Russian first came from Russia and Slavic. Russia was a communist country until Ivan the terrible came and the russian revolution happened so Russia became a democracy. Boris Yeltsin was Russia's first president.

"There is no place like home. East or West home is best." That one means "It's nice to be a guest, but it's always better to be at home." In russian that means "East or West, home is best." I'd say that one is my favorite.
